With 6 lakes, Nine Oaks is both a Trout Fishery, Carp and mixed Coarse Fishery.
Open all year from dawn until dusk, with night fishing available too.
Well behaved dogs are welcome so long as they have well trained owners to clean up after them. Only the fish are allowed to swim.
Light gear, small float, floating bread, dog biscuits or other baits, or fishing on the bottom can produce some spectacular sport. The anglers that do well use light tackle, a medium weight size 10 or 12 hook, 6-8lb main line and the clutch set properly on their reel.
There are Rainbow, Blue and Brown Trout ranging from 1lb to 4lb.
COARSE, CARP & TROUT
FISHING
Float, Margin, Ledger and Floating Baits fishing are allowed.
All Coarse fishing is completely NO KILL. No coarse fish to be eaten or taken off-site (DEAD or ALIVE). All trout fishing is FLY ONLY with barbless hooks. Trout fishing has catch and release or catch and
take available.
